How Long Does It Take To Get Rid Of Fleas At Home?

Published by   ·   2 Comments

I do not have pets but I have recently been treating my house for fleas. I work at a vets office so it is likely I caused this but I have been using a flea spray with an insect growth regulator all over the house, there are also no carpets in the house except for a small one in the bathroom. I have also been vacuuming around the house. Is this sufficient and about how long will it take to get rid of these pests?

  1. Lar says:

well people should be too clean for a flea infestation to happen…if you feel you have an infestation, you must have an animal source around. If you feel you are bringing fleas home from work, nothing you do by treating the home will stop you from seeing them.

  2. Tex says:

Fleas have four main stages in their life cycle: egg, larva, pupa, and adult. The total flea life cycle can range from a couple weeks to several months.
Keep doing what you are doing, fleas just like roaches can eventually be eliminated if you consistently keep at it long enough..
