How Much Should I Get Paid For Training A Dog?

My brother in laws brother wants me to train his 4 month old lab (in Obedience).

    Call your local animal trainers and ask what they charge for obedience training, and what things they teach. Let the trainers think you’re a potential customer. That will tell you the going rate in your area, and you can give your BIL’s brother a slightly reduced rate as a favor -!-

    Nothing – your BIL needs to train it and if you didn’t know that, then you need to not be training other people’s dogs and certainly not for money.
