I Am Training My Dog To Pee Outside?
Published by Pet Library Editor · 2 CommentsIm training my dog to pee outside and i was told to reward him after he pees.I have taken it one step further and began to reward him while he is peeing instead of after. My girlfriend thinks this is not good and i should follow what the books tell me. What is correct?Serious answers please.

You should definitely reward him after. Rewarding during does not train the dog at all, since there is no cause affect relationship. Plus he may not pay attention and continue peeing when back in the apartment.
reward him and praise him saying “very good” and other things like that so he knows that he has to do his business outside. and take him out about 2 to 3 times a day if you don’t want no accidents in the house.
