Depends on the handler and what the dog likes….sometimes cooked beef liver, chicken breast, hotdog, several different things. They find out what the dog likes the best and use that as “bait” (treats) to give the dog when he/she obeys commands.

He hates water tore a sore open on his tail and has fleas.

Casey is two. I adopted her from the Humane Society. She had no training so we’re working on stuff. She anticipates a treat and sits before I tell her to. Should I do something else? Also, she has a gazillion toys yet chooses to dig my underwear out of the hamper to play with. Do I just shut the door to the laundry or can I train her it’s bad and how?

I have a Pomeranian! She is miserbly allergic to fleas! She breaks out in large welts and itches “INSANELY!” She’s ripping all her hair out in chunks! Is there anything I can do for her or give her to give her some releaf? I treat them faithfully and it works, but they still get bit when they go outside and that’s when it happens! I’ve taken her to the vet and they give her a few steroids but I don’t want to keep doing that to her! Are there any more natural products out there?

We already gave her a flea bath in Dawn Detergent. And she still has fleas, she’s still too young to get treated for fleas, so the vets told us to use Dawn Detergent in warm water.

I use K9 Advantix regularly but I’ve still found a tick and many fleas on my dog.The tick is no longer a problem, but I can’t seem to get rid of the fleas. What can I do? I heard of this problem many time with frontline but thats not what I use, so why is it not working?
