We adopted a 4 year old lab mix about a month ago. The shelter told us she was house-trained but she is not. One big problem is that we will take her out for a walk where she won’t go and then she goes to the bathroom in the house almost immediately after we get back.

My pits outside are covered with fleas and ticks, and I have been pulling them off by hand and burning them, I am hoping there is an easier way.

7 weeks they absorb everything.

That depends on how you define ‘good’. Most of their trainers are amateurs just starting their careers. And a majority of them never completed a ‘real’ canine behaviorism school… 3-4 weeks of classes is not, in my opinion, a real education. Do you believe dog training is absolutely necessary and that all dogs should be properly trained, or do you think that trying to train a dog restricts their level of freedom and makes them into little more than insecure slaves? Or are your opinions a mixture of the two: that there is good training and bad training? What are your views?

I just got a kitten about 6 weeks old (some a**hole left him on the road) and the poor thing has got tons of fleas! I’ve already given him a bath but he is too young to put a flea collar on! Anyone know any good cheap ways of getting rid of em? Thanks!
