What Is A Sure Fire Way To Combat Fleas?

Frontline plus is really good for dogs, not sure about cats though. It would usually cost around $40. I use k9 advantix and i still feel like my dog has fleas, unless its allergies. But that one is usually a bit cheaper and cant be used on cats.
there is also a frontline treatment for cats. Works great.
