  1. The best way for indoor cats is to use medicine on the mother and drops on the kittens.

  2. pjrogers says:

There isn’t much you can do until they are a little older. It is not safe to use flea medications on kittens under 6 weeks, some not under 12 weeks. All you can do is bathe them with a gentle kitten shampoo and use a flea comb. When the are old enough, use a spot on treatment on all the cats after giving them flea baths, and then fog your house with flea bombs. If you do it correctly it will get rid of all the fleas and eggs.

  3. Ash Nickel says:

Well don’t keep the kittens inside there less likely to get fleas that way. Also you can go to the vet and ask.

WELL, IF YOU SPAYED YOUR CAT THEN YOU OBVIOUSLY WOULDN’T BE ASKING THIS QUESTION. BUT SINCE YOU ARE CLEARLY AN IRRESPONSIBLE PET OWNER AND LET YOUR CAT HAVE KITTENS AND NOW THEY HAVE FLEAS, I SUGGEST YOU GO BUY CAPSTAR (A PILL) FROM YOUR VET!!!!!!!!! SPAY YOUR CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. a1tommyL says:

ask your vet for “TOP SPOT” or
    “advantage”
I think you can buy these in the pets stores now.

  6. brandiej says:

bathe them all, put flea powder on them, vacuum your entire house with flea powder for carpet, put flea collars on all of them….if they have fleas, so does your house

  7. a_hazele says:

The best thing to use for newborn kittens is a little dusting with baby powder. NOT MUCH, because it could cause respiratory problems. Regular flea powder can’t be used on newborns and neither can drops.

  8. mmoouuss says:

The only safe thing to bathe your kittens with is Ivory dishwashing soap, it will kill the fleas. Also, as others have suggested, use a flea powder on the carpeting and vacuum. It may take several attempts to clear them. You want to be very carefull of using this around kittens, it can be harmful to them if they inhale the powder. Also, the fleas can make your kitten very sick very quickly if not treated. If the problem persists, take them to the vet immediatlely.

  9. JusMe says:

You can’t and be very careful with what you use to treat the fleas as some treatments can harm or even kill kittens.

    bathe them..
and get some natural flea remedy from like petco/petsmart/walmart (its usually in a green bottle)
