    It is work training, like carrying a backpack, herding, hunting, sledding, etc. Pulling is just pulling, it could be cart pulling. If you have a larger working breed like a Rottie with is a FABULOUS thing to do for him! Dogs want to work, they want a job. When you give them one, and they wear themselves out they are happier, healthier and feel really proud of themselves.

    I believe it’s called weight training. I have been to several weight pulls to watch people compete with their dogs. Make sure your dogs Patellas are good
