I got a kitten from a lady in the newspaper, about 3 months ago. She is about 6 months old. I just started getting bit when i was laying in bed. And i caught one on my leg when i was sitting on my carpet. I am going to throw all of my blankets in the dryer to kill the fleas.
Now how would i get the fleas out of my bed and carpet ?

I used a flea bomb. That worked really well for me.
I now get this flea spray and spray everywhere there could be flea’s on and hoover loads. Like carpets, all over sofa, under sofa, and then i totally strip my bed and place clean sheets etc…
    Hope this helps u too.

I am going through this right now. First you really need to flea bomb the whole house. I did this twice myself, then I got a professional. After you bomb, wash everything. Soap will kill live fleas, dryers won’t. You could end up with fleas everywhere if you just throw things in the dryer.
Bombing only kills the live fleas, you still have eggs and larva. You have to vacuum daily to pick up the eggs and larva. Empty the vacuum outside. Spray the inside of the vacuum with flea spray and cut up a flea collar and put that in the vacuum. Then do the whole thing all over again in two weeks. It’s a nightmare and a lot of work but there is no other way to get rid of them. Bleach will kill them too, for surfaces and clothes that can take bleach use that too.

Instead of just throwing the blankets in the dryer, you should definitely wash them first, then dry them. Also your sheets. Other than that, they should not be in your bed, like in the mattress itself, or anything like that. As for your carpet, there is a spray that you can buy that you spray on your carpet and it kills all the fleas. Other than that, just vacuum thoroughly and often.

Been there! buy some flea killer or flea repellant. put the sheets or rugs or whatever in the washer. then when you put the soap in the washer, along with it, put 1/3 cup of the flea remover.
