That depends entirely on what type of work you will be doing with the dog and you as a team.
If you are patrolling an area on foot or in a vehicle, there may be some handler protection involved.
Most security companies frown upon the use of a dog because of liability issues involved, so, having a dog that bites may not be a good idea for them.
Personally, if I were to work in that field and needed a dog that was to be a part of the team, I would not settle for anything less then a dog that was tested, selected and trained just as a patrol dog would be for the police.
Do be careful with a dog like that because if he does bite anyone during work you will expose yourself to liabilities that your company will not want to be a part of.
In closing, I suggest you have it in writing from your employer that they are liable for any liabilities that you may incur because of that dog during your working hours.
    Hope I helped.
