Animal Behavioral College is online and on hands training. You can do it anywhere. They put you in touch with people in your area for the on hands portion of it. The 18 month class is about $3000.00

there are some national programs you can do.. if you are looking to do so w/out spending money, apply at a petsmart (all OJT), or shadow/assist a neighborhood dog trainer. I trained at petsmart for 3 yrs. while there isn’t much freedom w/the style, it does give you confidence and a base, as well as exposure to future clients.

Most that I work with get paid as kennel help/bird boys while they are learning. It isn’t much, but it sure beats having to pay.
